Acceptable Use Policy#
Effective date: June 15, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the Clipkit Service. By using the Service you agree to it. Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or termination without refund, and we may report illegal activity to authorities.
1. Prohibited content#
You may not create, upload, host, render, store, or distribute content that:
- Is illegal or facilitates illegal activity under applicable law.
- Sexually exploits or endangers minors. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualized content involving minors. Any CSAM we become aware of will be removed, reported to NCMEC as required by law, and may be preserved and disclosed to authorities.
- Is pornographic, sexually explicit, or adult content.
- Promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or harassment, or targets individuals or groups with hate or threats.
- Infringes intellectual property — copyrights, trademarks, or other rights you don't have permission to use.
- Is deceptive or impersonates a person or entity, including misleading synthetic media intended to defraud.
- Discloses others' private or sensitive information (doxxing) without authorization.
- Contains malware or links intended to harm devices or networks.
2. Prohibited conduct#
You may not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or systems, or probe, scan, or test security without authorization.
- Circumvent or interfere with any content-moderation, safety, rate-limit, quota, or usage measures we may employ.
- Use the Service to send spam or to generate or distribute content at scale for deceptive, fraudulent, or abusive purposes.
- Scrape, overload, or disrupt the Service, or use it to build a competing dataset or service in violation of these terms.
- Resell or sublicense the hosted Service without our written permission.
- Use the Service to violate the privacy or rights of others or any law.
3. Anonymous use limits#
To protect the Service and others, anonymous (non-account) use is limited:
- Anonymous users may generate videos from prompts and from public URLs they are authorized to capture.
- Uploading arbitrary files (images, audio, video) requires a registered, accountable account. Anonymous file upload is not permitted.
- Anonymous content is ephemeral and rate-limited.
4. Enforcement#
We may, at our discretion and without prior notice: remove or disable content; suspend or terminate accounts; refuse service; preserve information; and cooperate with law enforcement. Termination for AUP violations is without refund. We are not obligated to monitor content but may do so.
5. Reporting abuse#
Report content or conduct that violates this AUP to support@clipkit.dev. Include the
URL/identifier and a description. We review reports and act as appropriate.
6. Copyright (DMCA)#
We respond to valid notices of claimed copyright infringement and terminate repeat infringers. Send notices to our designated agent:
DMCA Agent: Copyright Agent, Clipkit, Inc. Email:
support@clipkit.dev
A valid notice must include: identification of the copyrighted work; identification and location (URL) of the allegedly infringing material; your contact information; a statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and your physical or electronic signature. We will forward notices and honor valid counter-notices as provided by the DMCA.
7. Child safety (CSAM)#
CSAM is strictly prohibited. We are not obligated to monitor content, but may use
automated detection tools at our discretion. If we become aware of apparent CSAM,
we will remove it, report it to NCMEC's CyberTipline as required by 18 U.S.C.
§ 2258A, preserve information as required, and cooperate with authorities. Report
suspected CSAM to support@clipkit.dev and, in emergencies, to law
enforcement.
8. Changes#
We may update this AUP; the "Effective date" reflects the latest version.
